Support for Families
At Icknield, we feel building positive relationships with families is critical to our pupils' success at school. Should you need support, please reach out to the school's Family Support Worker: Anita McArthur-Worbey, on 01462 620406 or fsw@icknieldinfants.herts.sch.uk.
Bereavement Support
If you need to talk about a bereavement in the family or wider community, please reach out to the school's Family Support Worker. We are able to offer support in school and can also refer families to a range of organisations, such as local charity Stand by Me or Cruse Bereavement Care.
Food and Uniform Support
We have a small food bank in the Main Office foyer, which aims to provide essential support for our school families who may be experiencing financial difficulty. If you have any questions about the school food bank or need advice on other local support available, please contact the school's Family Support Worker.
We have a range of pre-loved uniform available in the school's Main Office. In addition, there is a local Uniform Bank held on the second Saturday of each month from 10.00am to 12.30pm at Wilbury Community Cafe (St Thomas Church and Wilbury Hall, Bedford Road, Letchworth Garden City).
