Punctuality
Punctuality is vital for life learning habits. If your child arrives to school after 8.50am they must report to the School Office to be signed in, where we will ensure they are registered on the school system and update lunch arrangements.
Pick-Up Arrangements
Children are due to be picked up from school at 3.20pm, unless they are signed up to a club. It is essential that all children are collected by 3.30pm as staff often have meetings to attend.
If you would like someone other than a parent or designated adult to collect your child from school, please inform the school in writing. The school requires that individuals collecting children from school are at least 14 years old, in accordance with advice from the NSPCC. Please remember, if you are leaving your child with someone under 16 years of age, you are still legally responsible for them and their wellbeing. The school reserves the right to refuse to release a child if they believe it is not appropriate, and will communicate the reasons to the parent(s).
It is important we know the pick-up arrangements for our children, particularly if they are changed for any reason. If children are not collected by a parent (or a designated adult approved by parents) and we are unsure of collection arrangements, we will reach out to parents to confirm the changes to ensure your children are kept safe; this will result in a delay in your child being released from school. To note, the school reserves the right to use our professional judgement to refuse to dismiss children if we, as a school, do not feel it is appropriate. Should this happen, we will communicate our reasons why and ask you to make alternative arrangements.
