School Council
Icknield's School Council is made up of two children from each class in Key Stage One and the School Council Reps are chosen by their classmates in class elections which occur termly. The children who want to be put forward to be a School Council Rep explain to their class why they think they would be a good representative. Examples have included that they are confident sharing their ideas to others, they have good listening skills, they take turns and they follow our school golden values.
Mrs Collins meets with the School Council Reps weekly and enjoys listening to their views on different subjects which the Reps then feedback to their class after the meeting.
Last year's School Council helped to plan our Worls Book Day and Red Nose Day, as well as helping to choose the new school clubs.
The first job for this year's School Council will be to record a welcoming phone message for our new phone system.
