Free School Uniform
If you, or your partner, are entitled to benefits you may be entitled to some free school uniform.
To see if this is the case please apply for free school meals for your child.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will automatically receive free meals as do all infant aged children but if you can register your child for Free School Meals in this way you will also receive a free book bag, shoe bag and sweatshirt and your child will be entitled to free school milk. The school will also receive £1345 for every child entitled to this benefit. The money will be used to support your child’s education while they are with us here at Icknield.
As soon as your child appears on our Free School Meals entitlement list the uniform will be available to collect (or order if out of stock).
Please put your child's name on every article that is worn, including shoes. For parents of children in Reception, it would be helpful to have a spare set of clothes and a pair of wellington boots available for messy play.
