Butterflies
Welcome to Butterfly Class
Butterflies learning in Autumn term.
We have had an amazing first term in Butterfly class. We quickly settled in to the routine of being at school and made friends. We have been learning about what makes each and every one of us unique and special, and celebrating that.
We have been learning to recognise our feelings and those of others using the zones of regulation and what we can do to get back into the 'green' zone. We love smelling the hot chocolate (taking some deep controlled breaths) to help us to calm down and be ready for learning.
Where the Wild Things are and I am Henry Finch have been the books that our literacy learning has been based on this term. We loved the stories and there was lots of pretending to to 'Wild Things' and 'thinking' like Henry Finch. we have written labels and thought bubbles.
